Evening all, I have recently bought tomtom5 and an f-tech solar 7 gps receiver for my ipaq 4150. 24 hours later and i still can't get tt5 to recognise the gps receiver. The pda has paired up with it using bluetooth, but tt5 will not let me configure it. It only allows me to use bluetooth serial port 8 when the gps is using com: 6, this is also the case when trying to be smart and set it up using the other cable NMEA GPS option.

Please please help as the only route this will be finding is out my 5th floor window. 8O

in TTN5, when configuring the GPS, the list of ports can actually be scrolled. Your port is probably on the next page.

If it's not, make sure to uninstall all old TomTom GPS drivers.

Thanks for the reply, sorry haven't gotten back earlier but am having to wait over a month to get phoneline and internet in new flat, so now borrowing friend's.

I will try your suggestion but can't see how i can scroll through port options.

Also this is the first time i have used gps or tomtom so shouldn't have any old drivers.

am also less than impressed with tomtom so far have sent them 3 emails since wednesday re my problem they haven't replied to any of them.
