Ok
Ive been using an Ipaq 1715 for the past 4 months. It is a bag of pooh and today it has died on me already which is POOR !
It wont power up and its been playing up for the past 2 weeks anyway randomly turning itself off even when plugged in and charging, but it only ever seemd to do it when running tom tom 5.
I need Sat Nav for my work so im gonna buy a new one, problem is i dont really know what to go for, i hear good stuff about the mitac mio.
I dont want to spend a fortune but i have learnt that going the cheapest way isnt always the best way to go.
Ideally id like a unit that i can swap between my work van and car without hassle IE: bluetooth, Im unsure between a PDA unit or a dedicated tom tom unit.... any ideas ?
Also where is the best place in the UK to order from ?
Please help, i need to get a unit ordered tonight so hopefully it arrives wednesday.
Thanks in advance

If you don't need any PDA functions get a GO 300. _________________ Darren Griffin |

This might sound daft, but does the go 300 use the old tom tom 3 map ? And the Go 500 the newer version 5 ? |

The GO 300 uses the latest maps, same as the 500 & 700. Best place to buy? No idea, some web research will give you some idea, start with www.easydevices.co.uk and www.totalpda.co.uk .
Best PDA, possibly the HP iPAQ h4700. _________________ Darren Griffin |
