Hi all,
I've looked through 10's of threads and can't find an answer to this.
I've got a Nokia 6680 and used Route66 before TTM5. My question is that when following a route and you take a different turn, TTM5 takes roughly 4-5 seconds before it has recalculated a new route for you.
In Route66, this was near instantaneous.
Please help.
Thanks |

Are you sure TT is not recalculating a big diversion? Sometimes mine is instantaneous sometimes it takes a few mins - all depends on the journey you are taking.
Try doing a quick journey, i.e. less than 10 mins then try it!

I'd agree with that, for example the route from Slough to Aylesbury wanted to take me down the M4 then M25, but I go the A road way Amersham, etc.
To recalc this route took a good few seconds, but recalcing to avoid going through Chesham town centre was almost instantaneous. |

The planning preference also affects how long it takes to calculate. For example the calculation time for the route between Truro and Thurso on my phone was:
Planning shortest route 6.5 min
Planning fastest route 20 seconds |
