Tom Tom Go 700 want to add Italy is there room
I am going on holiday to Italy next summer and thought
would be nice to have the detailed maps is there enough
room on the card of a 700 the map of italy is over 300mg

But I thought the roads in the 700 are just the main roads
and not the detailed roads please someone post the correct
information please |

No, the 700 has a full uncut version of the streemapping, which allows for address to address mapping from, say, London to Lisbon.

My 700 has detail of the whole of Western Europe. You do not need anything else to navigate in detail from the Atlantic to (and including) Poland and the Czech Republic.
I think you are getting confused with the "plus" map which comes with the cheaper 500 model. This map has GB in detail and the rest of Western Europe as major roads only.
The 500 plus map is about 200 MB. The 700 detail map is 1.33 GB!!

Yes the 700 already has this information - you dont need to add it.
It's easy to check yourself - pick an address in Italy, the one you are going to if you have it and it should be listed.

The 700 has been really succesful so far in the US. I read in a newspaper article that the TomTom GO products are some of the top holiday ideas in the US right now. |
