Bewildered - what BT gps Unit to buy MM5 & Tomtom 5

I have just purchased a dell axim X51v operating under Windows Mobile 5 and put tomtom 5 on it, upgraded to 5.21. I currently have n old haicom compact flash gps which it will not under any circumstances recognise.

Consequently I am wanting to upgrade to a bluetooth. The choice is bewildering.

Would I be best getting the tomtom BT for compatability reasons,

The Globalsat 338 for battery life and reception reasons

Or the Holux slim because it seems nice!

I also want to use it for aviation and strength of reception is important to me. I have read somewhere that the global sat only works with the above software if you turn off the sirf and put it on nmea. Seeing as sirfIII is supposed to the be bees whatsits is there any point in buying a technology you have to turn off or is nmea just as good.

I am truly befuddled at this point and having a blonde moment, can anyone help as to what I should get?
