poi inf files??

inf files?

my tomtom 5 has a number of small, 8 bytes, inf files each one being associated with ov2 and bmp files in the POIs
Thus for say B&Q there is the B&Q.ov2, the B&Q.bmp and a B&Q.inf file
I understand the ov2 and the bmp, but what is the inf file for?

They are not required, you can delete them if you want.

these are so small, 8 bytes, but they all differ
what do they do?
