OK will tom tom not let you take some roads? Its seems to not want to let me over some of my favourite alpine passes.

I guess it depends on how TTG assesses the relataive road speeds, and your stated preferences on planning (Quickest / Shortest etc).

When I'm working out advance routes for motorbike runs I store them as Itineraries and force the routing by using Waypoints.
