Thanks for the great advice and detail given in previous articles regarding this. I like many others ripped off i have to buy anothe rmount on top of my 500 price. Ok so you can modify your 300/500/700 mount with the aid of an old classic mount ......had a look and took it to bits not to hard it seems not having a classic mount and aerial to hand can anyone tell me if i can use any external aerial instead of a genuine go classic one as i have about 5 different aerials with different connectors from other GPS units kicking around the house. Do I need and mcx, mmcx or what type of connector to fit the 500 after converting the mount Thanks for any help
