Problem with BT-338 and TomTom Nav 5 solved (for me)

This may be useful to those people who are having problems with a Globalsat BT-338 and TomTom 5
I successfully used the BT-338 with TomTom 3 on my Ipaq 4150 but after upgrading to TomTom 5 I found that although I could connect the PDA and GPS and the icon was spinning there was no time or satellites. I tried all possible combinations of configuration without success.
I have now fixed the problem. After looking at a number of GPS forums on the Internet I saw that a number of people who had problems with the Globalsat GPS BT-338 (and 318) had fixed them by doing a factory reset. I took out the battery yesterday evening, put it back in at 12.00 today after 15 hours and when I switched on it connected immediately and has worked several times this afternoon after switching both PDA and GPS off each time.
It works on "Other Bluetooth GPS" and on "Other Cable NMEA" at 4800 and 38400.
I don't know if the problem was as a result of having connected to TomTom 3 first and the GPS was expecting a different application? Anyway, it now works.
This may be useful to other people who have a similar problem.
