External Aerial for Tom Tom Go 500

It seems I need an external aerial for my Tom Tom Go 500. Looking at the description on the Tom Tom website it appears the kit for this replaces the existing docking shoe. If I purchase this will I still have the handsfree facility as this is included in the existing docking shoe. The reason I ask is the kit is shown as being compatible with the 300, 500 and 700 - and as the 300 does not have the handsfree facility it made me wonder if the handsfree capability might be lost if the new kit was fitted. I have asked Tom Tom direct and am awaiting a reply - but someone may already know the answer on here.

Yes you will still have it as the Hands free function is standard in the docking shoe but not standard on the 300 thus it doesnt get used when connected to a 300.
