Tomtom bluetooth GPS connection gone.

Looking for ideas.
I have TOMTOM bluetooth GPS & IPAQ4150.
I've been running navigator 3 fine for ages. Borrowed a navigator 5 card off a mate and it worked ok for a few minutes then the GPS dropped out, never to be seen again. Blue LED comes on for 20 seconds then blinks for a while.
Finally hard reset IPAQ and went back to Navigator 3.
Can't get a GPS connection now.
Can connect ok in bluetooth manager and pair up ok, constant blue LED. No GPS signal.
I Installed WinFast navigator but this doesn't see COM6 (Couln't find value) when I open port settings. COM6 isn't in the list.
A few forums suggest a factory reset of the GPS receiver, how is this done on the TOMTOM device?
Any ideas?

Ok, un-installed tomtom, now I can select COM6 in winfast navigator.
This now seems to connect on COM6 with any settings (NEMA, 4800, COM6)(Blue LED is constant on the receiver).
No data showing on the 'developer' screen.

Sorted.
Open up receiver and disconnected battery for 10 mins.

Winfast navigator and TOMTOM both get GPS signal.
