Hi. i have recently dived into the GPS world after sitting on the idea for about 18 months. Received all the software/hardware i expect i need and have set it all up, that's both the tt3 on my PDA (XDA2i) and my GPS receiver in my van. When mounted in the cradle of the van i cannot seem to get my PDA to detect my receiver, my receiver flashes red when powered, i'm sure there will be someone with an idea with what i could try,
regards
Andy.

also a thought, when ever i've installed any software such as tt3 my PDA has given me the message that the software may not display propperly because it was designed for an older operating system, all i've done to my XDA2i is updated the bios..

ok, is it bluetooth or wired gps, if wired disable the keyboard - i am told via this forum to do this you just deselect receive IR Beam, then get the tomtom gps screen and select the correct baud and port, if its bluetooth not too sure as i never got it to work on my XDAIIs correctly (yet) - mike
