roads going into the sea

can anyone help
i had to do a hard reset and reinstall ttn4.444 on my ipaq rz 1710 but now the map freezes and some of the roads are dead straight and also go out into the sea i have reinstalled several times
if i am in the wrong room please point me in the right direction

hi hammyloz..did you experience these probs in the recent heat?? if so then your gps receiver is becoming extremly hot..this in turn is causing the components to overheat as they are over there normal operating temperature.i had exactly the same problem last week.so i made a cardboard housing to cover the receiver while it is on the dash board and this seems to have done the trick..there is a posting on this subject by myself and other users just lookfor the question "does heat affect your receiver"..good luck and
