Using PoiEdit to convert files.

Is it me or is there a problem when converting generic ov2 files to Navman format (.csv) in PoiEdit. What I am finding is that very often the files are corrupted in some way and therefore rejected by Navman SmartST desktop program when transfering to the unit.

I also find that sometimes icons are corrupted and show up on the maps as a block of diagonal stripes.

Any help appreciated.

I use Oldie's POIConverter and have never had any problems converting from .ov2 to .csv.

The diagonal stripes icons used to occur before I installed SP1. It is something to do with the colour depth of the icons. You could try reducing that depth in Paint, perhaps.
