Toshiba E355 and Haicom 204E

I have installed TomTom3 with the upgrades but cannot get the PDA to recognise that the haicom is there it will not connect I am using the NMEA 4800 setting on com2 because that is the only com port that is available but it just will not work.
Can anyone help a newbie?????

I have sorted dumped the Haicom and bought a Rikalin 6010 and it set up without having to laod any drivers, works perfect!!!!
