|
|
I have just got a Leadtek 9537 BT receiver and have been trying it out on my 2210 with TT maps on an SD card. A couple of times TT has frozen and I'm sure I have seen on the forum that it's a known problem and the best way to solve it is to put the maps on a CF card.
Do I just copy the maps across or do I have to do a reinstall to the CF card? I am thinking of getting a Kingston 512MB or 1GB CF card, is that a good choice?
Thanks in advance.
Andy. |

just copy the files across. Make sure your windows file explorer does not hide system files or file extensions. _________________ Lutz

Hi Lutz
Thanks again for coming to my assistance. I work in IT so my background is with networks and PCs and I tend to think in terms of drive mapping. Still trying to get my head round how the PPC handles different storage cards. It's my personal one so not used for work at all.
Regards
Andy. |

Right, I got a 512MB CF card and a reader and copied the files from the SD to the CF card. The TT icon on my today screen doesn't work unless the SD card is in so I assume that I need to point that to the CF card, How do I do that please? |

Did you install the application to storage card as well? Very good.
Use Pocket File explorer to browse to the application folder, tap and hold on the executable, select "Copy"
Then navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and from the menu select Edit > Paste shortcut.
That should get you back into business. _________________ Lutz

Thanks again Lutz. :D
Everything working now. Getting ready for a trip this summer with multiple destinations so want to make sure it's reliable hence the CF card. |
