Just thought that I inform all of you that there is an update to 1.61 on the ALK website. The description of fixes looks to me that it refers to 1.48.

When installed it will install itself into the main memory, despite the fact I placed the cab file into the directory to which it was originally installed on my X50v (built in storage)

This has been reported before...
Anyhow, the CoPilot installation is largely ignoring the Microsoft install guidelines, even when using CabInstl. You will have to manually move the files around after installation.

The location of the CAB file has no influence at all on the installation destination.

Using this version and it works really well!!

In the options menu you need the slider one stop from the left and all POI's get announced. The slider still resets one place to the left when you reopen it but apart from that it's good - just make sure the slider is one notch from the left when you close the options.
