I am on btmobile network but I have got my traffic working with same settings as you. Are you saying these are not the correct settings for proper GPRS connection? Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks

Also I dont understand. You say these areWAP settings but surely to get traffic updates you need a proper GPRS connection. Is not all WAP info provided by your mobile provider?

From the information that I found at Filesaveas to setup my orange connection it would seem the settings that vodafone supplied are a mixture of gprs (wap) and gprs (web). I can't tell if this information is accurate for vodafone but the orange settings work for me. The following seems to be the problem

when it should be +CGDCONT=1,”IP”,”Internet”

When I went into my phone settings I realised that there were loads of connections setup. I deleted them all except gprs settings for vodafone. I am using the voda settings I gave at the top. Tried it out on a long run yesterday and the cost was abot £1.20.
