i have installed this to my navigon 4 unit, it says in the destructions that there is a POI recorder, it tell you to go to options and select the hardware key to record a POI.
When i go to where it says, the key assign option is not there

When you are in the gps map view, either navigating or just showing the map, if you then tape the screen on the EXACT location you wish to record the new poi, it will bring up a menu list, you then select on that menu.
Thanx Pocket...but i can do what you said in yr first reply, but the "hardware-key for poi recorder" tab is not therein the second screen
alos, in the top right hand corner, there is an "ok" button, if i hit this button i lose the program alltogether, and the only way i can get it back is to soft reset.
On playing about with it, i have to tap the green button then select nm4, is this right

For some reason it sounds like it may not have installed correctly, do you not see the screen above at all, or is it just that the Hardware Key section of that screen is missing ?
The small Green icon in the bottom left corner is to allow you to get to the settings for POI-Warner when in the map view.
Are you sure that you have downloaded the correct version for your setup.
If you cannot get it to work correctly then I would contact the Authors web site for some more information, you would need to tell him what PDA/Gps unit you are using, the OS and what version of POI-Warner you have downloaded and installed.
