PIOs Limited to 100 with TomTom Smartphone on C500?

On my C500 "Windows Mobile" smartphone, I've noticed that I can only "see" the first 100 POIs in large POI catagories that I've downloaded.
If I go to Maintain POI / Delete POI / "Petrol All" I would expect to be able to delete any POI in that category, anywhere in the country, but only 100 POIs are listed. As these are sorted by distance, I guess these are the 100 closest POIs to my last known position. I don't see why I shouldn't be able to delete a POI in Glasgow when I'm in Portsmouth! (I know I could use POI Edit on a PC to do this).
I'm concerned that I might not be seeing the 100 closest but just the first 100 in the category. Not so much of a concern for Petrol stations but more of a concern for "safety camera" POIs where you may only be able to see perhaps 1 in 3 cameras in a category that contains 300 cameras.

Anyone else noticed this 100 POI limit and understand the reason for it and what limitations it imposes or any work arround?

Must admit also seen this although I am not sure if it was a 100 limit. I removed some old POIs that I didnt need anymore and viola the new ones appeared. Lets hope TTMv5 fixes this...
