TomTom Go is hung!

I had version 4.42 installed with GB & Jane. I went to load maps of western europe and decided to go online for updates first. I followed the instructions to load version 5.0, but when I disconnected from my PC TomTom Go says "No maps found!" and neither the download a map or cancel buttons work. It is now stuck with the errror message on the screen and I cant do anything with it??

Help anyone Sad

can you please check if you have enough free space on the storage card? It may be best if you re-install, using the 5.0 update directly (don't install the old version any more)

The SD card is a 1GB which only had 4.42 on it with GB maps and Jane. It is still sitting here with the same error message and I cant turn it off or anything, it is completely hung!

There appears to be no reset button? It is frozen and I cannot do anything with it

I managed to reset TTG then connected to PC but TTG displays a red x with a black arrow through it?

I took the card out and can read it on the PC and formatted it. I then put back in TTG and selected install the application which says the gb maps and jane will be installed.

When I start TTG it says no maps found? I put the card in the PC and the files are there?

HELP:( Sad

Oh crap, sorry to you guys/gals I just found that all I had done was install the application not the gb maps.

I also read the post on this site about the red x and black arrow.

Yep I jumped right in without reading/checking first
