Navigating eastern europe

I really need to navigate in Bulgaria.... I know there are no TT maps etc.

but is there any other way of using ppc + gps to navigate with some degree of acuracy?????

Unfortunately no. You can get mapping software but that can only show you where you are, not aid in navigation (navigation is defined as the ability to recalculate a route when you missed a turn, and the feature of spoken instructions).

The (very) old TomTom Routeplanner had some basic maps of eastern Europe, but is very difficult to get nowadays.

Try to look at Vito Technology - they may have maps of Bulgaria. (I can't reach their server from here) http://vitotechnology.com
