GPS Signal strength

Hi, new to GPS.
I am using HP2210 with TT3 and Bluetooth BT GPS x50 receiver. However, as yet I have not had too much joy. The GPS connection last for a very short while and disconnects. I re-activate, with its warm up time, and goes for a little while and the cycle continues again. Not much fun. Evil or Very Mad

Maybe I need an external antenna and how do they work? Does anybody have any sugesstions/solutions how to improve the connection etc. Even tried placing the receiver near to the rear back window. Also if anybody knows/owns this particular type receiver, then maybe they could susggest possible places to get the manual/owner guide and antenna.

Have you done the BT update on your 2210?

Hi Hoppe,
Sorry I am a complete noobee; what is the update for and how do you go about doing this. Do you recognise this GPS receiver? and where can I get more info about it.
