These may be require simple answers but here goes
How do I view permanent map view when on route instead of when on a motorway seeing the arrow graphic and the next junction?

Is there a fix for the m6 toll yet poor ipaq was throwing up all sorts of suggestions?

Do you have the Turn Off Map Display set to too low a speed value?

"seeing the arrow graphic and the next junction" - this is referred as the safety screen. To keep the normal navigator view increase the safety speed in the the first tab of the settings to 124 mph.

Better still set it to 71 mph then you know when you've exceeded the speed limit.
