Holux CF or Blue tooth that is the question??

I am looking to venture into GPS- I have a Ipaq 4700, I will be using tom tom and am considering the holux CF 270 GPS or the Holux blue tooth, can any tell me which is better and which may drain the battery quicker, i like the idea of CF as its all in one unit and no worries about BT and loosing the pairing i have heard about, but if the CF unit will drain the battery in my 4700 then i will go for the bt one-.
PS I live in Gloucestershire and use it mainley in a vehicle but would want to use it on foot as well-

I'd go for Bluetooth. I've used both CompactFlash and Bluetooth with my hx4700.

The CompactFlash GPS will drain your hx4700 battery faster than using a Bluetooth GPS will. The hx4700's battery is good - it has one of the best battery lives of any Pocket PC, but it's not inexhaustible!

Further, the combination of hx4700 and CompactFlash GPS - even using the folding HI-303MMF that I have - is quite awkward in shape.


I've found my Fortuna Clip On stable with my hx4700.
