Route 66 is not well supported

I purchased Route 66 to work with my portable GPS. It seemed to be well done and the maps seemed to be very accurate and detailed. Then I discovered large gaps in the maps. Basically, I could be travelling down a major highway and it would just disappear (no map data). I got a hold of Route66 and was told "Too bad. We can't help you." I purchased a specific piece of software based on their advertised information that the area was covered as advertised. It appears the detailed data they advertise as a selling point is not really there. And no chance of a refund either. That's bad support. I had to buy another company's product to get the maps I needed. Hopefully no one else gets caught like I did.
