Hi,
Been using the ukpostcode utility and I think its excellent, however I have a small problem.
I put in a postcode, and I know exactly where it is because it is a business, however when I view the map it is showing the wrong location (a mile or so away). This is particular to this postcode.
Is there anyway to edit the database to correct the co-ordinates? |

you sometime see this when a post code is recycled - my folks moved house last year and their new house (on a new development) had a post code which must have been allocated previously - its approx 6 miles away when you check on the postcode addon and various web based maps.
I would be interested if you can amend the specific post code details as well. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

It depends which file set you're using.
As a POI or Digitools. _________________ Richard

I am using POIntCheck 3.2 along with the DigiTools postcode database.
Hope this helps.
If I put postcode in to Multimap it is correct, but if put in to ukpostcode its incorrect. Just in case your wondering the postcode is PO168UL. I am on a new development here, so that might explain it. |
