I`m getting crazy!!!

Can`t make my Axim x50v work with BT-318.
Bluetooth connection seems to connect, GPS blue led blinks faster, but cant make any kind of software to receive the signal. Even GPS info isn`t working correctly, it only shows the first screen and I cant see the Globe screen.
Tried GPS Tuner and even it wont work.

Please, can someone give me a step by step setup ( even if I need a Hard reset).

Thank you in advance.

Hi.

You can download a Globalsat Bluetooth setup guide from our website. Click the following link.

This should help.

Hi, I still canīt connect...

The problem is the setup doesn't look the way my Axim is configured.
Where de guide says: " Bluetooth mannager will ask you if you want to connect..." My screen only have: "Bluetooth mannager: Bluetooth My Shortcuts, and a menu where says NEW, and when you click it brings a new screen called "Bluetooth connection wizard", where the only option fot GPS would be "Explore a Bluetooth device", and if you select the GPS it will brings another screen with the "Service selection" and there I have the option to select the only one availiable "BT-GPS Com port", with a checkbox "use a secure encrypted connection", do i need to check this box?.
Well as you can see my doubt is that, do a need to have the GPS paired or just the service dicovered? what is the best solution?
Do I need to leave the GPSinfo program running or not?

thank you,

- Christiano

Yes, it is best to pair/bond the device.

Make sure you are not using GPS Info and TomTom at the same time.

The BT-GPS Com port you see available is the correct one. And no you don't have to check the box for encrypted connection.
