I have followed your instructions to load the Safety caera details onto my HP2210 (Navman v3 software). All has gone well until I try and actually load the information onto my device when I just get an error message "No POI's found in input file" despite the fact that I can clearly see all the locator information just as in your screenshot. Can anyone help?

Please post a copy of the first two lines of the file you're trying to upload to your iPAQ, and please use Notepad to copy those two lines. Thanks. _________________ Tim |

I have now solved the problem - I had been using Excel to open the .csv file. When I use NOTEPAD, it solves the problem. Thanks for your help - your answer pointed me in the right direction.

Did you open the CSV file in Excel and Save it ? If so, that's where you've gone wrong.
You need to open it in NOTEPAD. If you've saved this in Excel then you may have corrupted the format of the file and this will cause the POI Not Found message.
Try re-opening the original CSV from the ZIP file in NOTEPAD and saving it as a new name, then delete the top lines and you should be good to go using the Navman POI Importer. |

Well, for the first time, I can't see anything wrong! Could you email me the whole file please, and with your permission I'll email you a file which was accepted by my iPAQ without any problems. _________________ Tim |

I have downloaded the data again and opened it in in Notepad. It now works perfectly thank you very much. Will be in touch if i encounter any other problems with my understanding etc. One more question. Does any one know what the total size of these files are.

| When you download each POI file to your device you will get a box that tells you the memory available on the device (free space) and the memory required (the size of the file). _________________ Ian.
