Problem solved! - transfering map data from PC to C500

Thought posting this might save someone else some grief. After a few niggles I decided to reinstall Copilot on my phone using PC to phone via active sync method which i'd successfully used to load the speed camera database I found on this site. Although the PC created the data fine, it failed everytime when transferring across. I did try ALK support (phone seemed best method BTW!) but they couldn't identify the problem, just suggesting basic stuff. Eventually a colleague was looking at the PocketPC forum and saw this a problem with that platform fixed by using a card reader. So, I bought one and now everything seems to be working fine.

Overall I've been pretty satisfied with it although it seems to have a problem navigating Liverpool and the M56
