Hello again,
Can anyone recommend a particular make of SD/MMC card for use in the iC510 ?. I've seen prices ranging from around £15 (DigiprintUK), up to £30 plus, at PC World.

Think that's a loaded question, every one seems to have different opinions
on what is best, the only information i can tell you is not to buy the very
cheap ones as usually there capacity is not what you would think, most 256MB cards have a user capacity of about 245Mb, but some of the cheap versions have only 233Mb, that's a lot of lost memory.

Personally i use Lexar, but that's just my choice.

I bought a Sandisk 256mb SD Card for £31 from Jessops and it was excellent, No problems at all.

Hi Jim61,

I bought a Transcend (60x) 1GB for my iCN510 and installed the Cards Austrian, Germany and Swiss and the map with the westeuropean mainroads. I have a lot of place on my SD Card for installing POI's .It works very well, may be a little bit slower at starting form Offmodus. But I can uncheck the cards, which I don't need.
