American V2 maps on ICN510

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to the forum so hope that this has not already been posted.

Reading through the forum I see a few queries relating to the use of V2 maps on the 510 but no one seems to have verified if they actually work or not.
I originally tried to upload the V2 maps for America via the new desktop interface but the product registration codes were claimed to be invalid.(I have a UK registered 510)

Emailed Navman support and they "re-set" the codes. Next time I tried the maps loaded straight away and are visible, with all roads seeming to be present on the 510.

Question is, as I'm not going back to America for a few months, does anyone out there know if the V2 maps work OK or was this a waste of time.

P.S. - Praise where its due, the Navman support was amazingly quick.
