Hi,

Can anyone tell me what USB version the connection cable for Mio168/Navman PiN uses. I first plugged it into a v 1.0 port as all my v 2.0 were occupied, but data transfer seemd rather slow so I tried it in a V 2.0, but I can't say that it was noticeably quicker.
If it is only v 1.0 then I can plug my printer back in!!

There is nothing in the user manual which I thought would have some technical data.
Thanks
Leigh

According to the specs I read on another site, it uses USB v1.1

Tim,
Thanks,
I thought that might be the case. I won't waste a v 2.0 port on it then.

Hello LeighB

The specs from a re-branded Mio 168, which are probably the same:

http://www.sim98.freeserve.co.uk/AMN/speccs.htm

But do not do the Firmware update you see on that page, as this is for the Navigon GPS software on the Medion, not the Mitac Mio 168 version.
