Hi
I have a hp iPaq h2200 that is using a transplant gps CF card and it is working fine on comm port 1. ok

I created a evb application that communicates with a plc and I can hook up to the plc and grab the data I want using rs-232 on comm1, when the transplant card is not attached to the ppc.

After I run my application I have to reset the ppc in order to run Oziexplorer (gps software) and after I run Oziexplorer I have to remove the card, reset and then I can run my application.

I have tried using different comm ports in both the gps software and changing ports in my program and they both only seem to work using comm1.

Is there a file I can execute in my program that mimics a reset of comm port configuration or disables the gps card for a limited time.

Any advice is mucho appreciated. Thanks

Have you poked around in the registry to see if you can push the Transplant card to a different COM port?
