In navigate mode the top line of the display i.e. road name flashes on and off - is this a "feature?" However, it depends on the length of the road name e.g. if I'm on the A1 no problem, but as soon as I go onto anything with a longer name it flashes on and off, even when stationary.

Is it possible to change the "gong" warning for POI's - I'm using the female .wav file for directions but wondered if you could change the warning sound for cameras?

And finally, if GPS tracks/favourites don't record/save you may have the problem I had - a faulty ALK-supplied SD card which intermittently wouldn't write when set to "unlock".

Thanks

Terry

Change to the TTS voice. It doesn't take long to get use to the artificial voice, and I think that the advantages of spoken speed camera warnings (including speed limit) are well worth it. I also find it provides better turn directions, including the next two turns when they are close together. You just have to get used to 'mill-ez' instead of 'miles' with the POI warnings.
