... I'm keen to get into the world of GPS and wondered if Tom Tom Navigator 3 will run on a Mitec Mio 168 Digiwalker ....

yes, it runs just fine (as any other Pocket PC navigation program will)

My Mio arrived today !

Thanks for the help .... Installed tom tom - all seams to be working. The only issue I seamed to have was it 'locked up' when calculating a route that required me to reset the entire unit and re-install. Apart from that all ok. Is this normal? should I expect 'lock-up's' like this?

The more RAM you have free the less lock-ups yo should expect. Also make sure your storage card is kept tidy and defragmented.
