Route 66 lat/long dont match my GPS

On my new 'Etrex Legend C' I use the hddd [degree] mm'mmm format with WGS 84. According to my unit the cordinats of my home-adress is:

N 59 degrees, 21.898 / E017 degrees, 59.482

But my 'Route 66 Skandinavia" PC-Software instead shows lat/long:

N 59 degrees 21'53.81 / E 17 degrees 59'29.23

How to convert the Route 66 output into something that my 'Legend C' can understand?

The first is in decimal degrees, and the second in degrees and minutes.

To convert the first to the second, divide the 'minutes' part by 60. For example, 53.81/60 = 0.897, rounded to 3 decimal places.
