I've just had to hard reset my hx4700 and so must reinstall TT3 and Checkpoint.

I would prefer to keep as much memory on the PPC free as possible and wondered whether or not I could install TT3 and Checkpoint to a 256MB CF card or a 512MB SD card.

If I can, is one preferable to the other? Are there any problems with doing this rather than installing onto the 4700?

Any advice observations most welcome!

Have a look at the TomTom Registry hack article.

I would recommend CF card - it's a tad faster and more robust.

err Sorry Moderator I clicked the wrong button b4 and I can;t edit it.

DavidW says - don't worry - there is a problem and users can't edit their own posts. I think I've edited this to be as you would want it now

digital,
I have done this with my 4700 all I did was say no to the install to the default location message dusing the activesync part of the installation and just selected my CF card for the install instead.

It has worked a treat with no problems at all.
