Newbie would like help please

Hi Folks, I really hope you can help me please....

I have read many reviews and the 2610 is now probably the top of my list however my problems are....

I just want to take it from the box here in Spain, the Alicante region, and away I go...I understand a lot of mapping software do not cover Spain in great depth..although I will use it when I am back in the UK. I have checked out the 320 & 330 here and they do seem OK, although a bit bulky to keep in your pocket when away from the car.

The Mio 269 looks to be the "best buy" however lack of reviews stops me from considering this machine at the present moment in time.

It is for a Mini convertible and the screen needs to be bright or automatically adjusts to the conditions..

Finally, I would like to listen to directions though an earpiece.
