Talk about luck

Here is a little story,
July, bought a Magellan roadmate 700 from Global Positioning Systems
\absolutely brilliant piece of nav kit, took me from York to Rome via Germany Austria returned through Monaco and France, not one hiccup.
Upon return forgot to take the machine off the cradle whilst we went for something to eat. Car broken into and Maggie stolen,
I replaced Maggie with an Ipaq 2210 and co-Pilot 5. bought a seidio mount at the same time. again from GPSystems
Day1 GPS unit U/S returned for exchange GPSystems service Excellent.
upon receipt of replacement the Seidio mount went U/S replaced again by GPS no probs.
upon receipt of replacement seidio mount the cig lighter power supply cable failed, when I say failed i mean it fell apart upon disconnection from cig lighter socket, and hasnt worked since still awaiting replacement from seidio.
Bought a Brodit active mount, amplifier does'nt work I am waiting for return authorisation from Handnav. i keep phoning but aren't getting anywhere.
Co Pilot software for PC installs any number of different files at will.
waiting to hear from ALK as to resolution. No answer to my emails
Bought tomtom3 cant get it to run more than 5 mins at a time.
Thinking of buying something else don't know what yet.
If I had any luck I think it would be bad.
What do you say? has anyone else any similar tales.
