top speed logging

hi there i need some help i own the medion pakage and need some way of storing my maximum speed ??
any ideas its for use on motorcycle track runs?
plus what reciever can i get for on the bike save keep taking the setup out of the jeep

Hi there.

Using GPS to track top speeds is not a very good idea. The update interval is fixed at 1 Hz (once per second only) so you have a good chance to miss your top speed.

If you still want to do it - have a look at the Delorme Blue Logger - that one has 50000 data points it can store. Enough for a whole race... or two.

After the race you can then download the log to your desktop and analyze it to death, with Excel or Mappoint etc.

thanx for that i understand there not 100% but was just looking for the software for the medion pda i have not another reciever thanx

Many programs have software logging - try VisualGPSCE for example.

help i installed this software and all comes on screen but nothing happens also my medion navigation software keeps showing no gps have i got a conflict ??? please help

you cannot run these programs at the same time. Do a soft reset and then just start one of them, not both.
