GPS for Dell Axim X3

Hi,
I've just bought a 2nd hand Dell Axim X3 (400, 64mb/64mb) 1Gb SDcard and Tom Tom 3 and now I need a car mount and GPS receiver.

Are there any recommendations for GPS kit for use with the X3?

I've seen posts on here about Arkon mounts, is the Arkon CM815 all-in-one worth considering?

Are all GPS mice in-car powered only or are there models that can be be either powered off of the PDA or have their own battery (like TomTom GO)?
