Does anyone here have any problems not being able to see the pda screen without reflection.

I have tried tilting the screen up/down/left and right. I also have tried various brightness settings, but in any Confused Confused thing other than really dull or dark conditions I have this problem.

Any ideas.

Glare can be a problem.

I've eased mine by using a screen protector with a slightly matt finish.

I would highly recommend getting a screen protector. I use writeshields available from expansys, and found that they are durable (same one for 4 months and no scratches) and reduce glare quite considerably. However, they do slighlty dull the screen but it's worth that small sacrifice.

Hi dhdm,

When I used a windscreen suction mount fro the PDA, I found that I used to have problems with reflections on the screen. However, since I’ve changed to a Brodit mount that is the same level as the steering wheel I found that I didn’t get a problem with reflections on the screen, especially as the Brodit mount has a ball joint for angling the PDA in the right position.

I agree with bigfatjohn and drummer, screen protectors also help reduce the glare and are a good idea for reducing scratches on the screen. I too use the writeshields brand of screen protectors.

Regards,
