Hello,

I have got a brad new Loox720 last week. I installed TT3 and tested during the week-end. It did perform good until the almost the end of my journey, 550km Paris-Annecy.
First problem: As soon as interred the town GPS postion became instable and lost completely the control. (I used the Media player all the way through).
- Second prob.: I found that TT3 voice instructions working on one channel only (left one).
On my way back I had no problem at all concerning the GPS position, but only one channel working. Media player is affected each time I start TT3 (becomes very low). Ihave to correct that only by playing with the volum icon.

BUT TT3 saty difusing instruction through the left channel.

Any help please?

Thanks in advance.

Left channel? Are you saying the Loox 720 has stereo speakers?

The TomTom WAV files are of course Mono files, but the sound should come monaural to both channels

lbendlin,

Thanks for your reply.
In fact I wanted to say that when I connect the unit to the car K7 radio, TT3 messages can be heared on one speaker (the left one). But when I use Mediaplayer, I get both speakers working normaly.
I believe that is some thing to do with TT3 and Loox720, since it is the only software that reveal this disfunction (any way on my PPC).

Thanks again for your help

What happens when you play the TomTom WAV files through the mediaplayer?

Good question, the answer is the TT3 wav files are played out on both speakers.
Another thing very strange I noticed today :
- I run TT3 and the voice instructions are played on one speaker only, as I mentioned before.
- I run at the same time Mediaplayer, the sound is played on both speakers. but at the first TT3's voice instruction, Mediaplyer plays on one speaker.
- If I click on the sound volum scale (icon at top corner right), Mediaplyer replays on both speakers, AS WELL AS TT3.
- When I shift from Navigator window to Route window, the voice play again on one speaker.

Well well, that is the fall story.

cheers
