TomTom Mobile Memory Cards?

I really like the idea of TomTom Mobile but having looked at the TomTom website I have a question and was wondering whether anyone could answer it?
I'm looking to upgrade to the Orange SPV C500 smartphone, the expansion slot on this phone is for miniSD cards. THe card supplied by TomTom is a MMC card. Does anyone know if they will be using other formats of memory cards in the future

I don't think the format of the storage card matters much. There may be some quirks now (like a particular card being incompatible with a particular device) but that should be sorted soon. You can simply copy the data from the MMC to the mini SD and should be good to go.
