Hi,
I received a SD501 GPS receiver from www.easydevices.co.uk for my Toshiba e740 PDA, but I can't get it to work. I have installed both of the drivers of Gobalsat's Web site alternaticvely, and I spoke to Easydevices technical support, who said I might need an update to the Toshiba Rom.
This wasn't stated on their site, or when buying it.....

Can anyone tell me if this can be made to work with the Toshiba E740, and should the LED light on putting the card in the SDIO slot. I am almost positive that the SD slot on this unit is SDIO

TIA 8)

Hi,
Your PDA will have to incorporate SDIO Now! Technology for this device to work. There is a list of tested PDAs available on the product page.

http://www.easydevices.co.uk/products.asp?partno=EDGSATSD501

Check with your PDa manufacturer whether your Toshiba PDA has SDIO Now!
