Newbie - TT3 & 4150 GREAT

Sorry for the shout, but as a new GPS user I feel I must shout the virtues of my system.

I have read a lot of negative posts here and felt I must give my opinion.

I have just bought an HP iPAQ4150 with 512Mb SD card and TomTom3 Bluetooth.

Apart from a small hiccup that was probably my fault (loading the TT3 and then upgrading my BIOS to 1.10) I installed, configured loaded maps and went out for a test drive.

It was fantastic. I live on a ne housing estate (appx 3 yrs old) and up till a year ago we were not even on the printed maps. Well TT3 knew where I was and directed me to my chosen destination along exactly the same rtoute I would have chosen.
On the way back, I deliberatly went a different way and even though TT3 persistantly tried to get me back on it's chosen route, it finally remapped a new route via my direction.

I am probably getting too excited too early and will undoubtably run into some issues down the line but for around 100 quid, you can't go wrong.

BTW, I needed the iPAQ for business use as well.

I did find on a couple of occassions when I stopped for pertol etc and at my first destination, after tuning the iPAQ off, when I turned it on again it would not run the TT3 s/w without me having to warm reset it. I have read that a warm reset is normal operation.

Anyway, first impressions are very good.
