I have spent most of the past two days trying to get these bitz of technology to talk to each other. Fugawi mapping functions seem to be working ok on the IPAQ and the BT connection between the IPAQ and the Clip-On seems to be OK. Using the Navigator set up software the IPAQ sees some sats with the COM PORT 6 and BAUD 2400 but the status line reads 'NO FIX'.

When I try to OPEN GPS with COM 6 and BAUD 2400 in Fugawi on the IPAQ it doesn't want to know.

If anyone has any ideas or experience of this set up and making it work it would be greatly appreciated before I go completely round the bend.

Thanks

2400 sounds very low. Normally BT receivers operate at 38400 baud. Try changing the speed.

I managed to get the kit locked on at 3:00 am this morning after persevering and trying various different settings etc. I think part of the problem was that I had the Navigator software open in the background and it was hogging the sats!

Settings were COM6 and BAUD 38,400.

Thanks for the input.
