So.
I dig out an old smart phone that would accept Cameralert, and install it.
I go along a stretch of road last night when at work, that is now having a 6 mile stretch of average speed cameras installed, and I submit a load in one direction. So far so good.
I didn't get a confirmation e.mail, and I notice that they aren't on the map today as pending.
Is it not supported on this site now at all? |

I wasn't aware that you could see them as pending.
I couldn't see them until I got the verifier tag ....... but I could be wrong.
Can you pinpoint one so next one in can check. _________________ DashCam:

I will be passing the same area tonight.
If it is of any use, they are on the M180 near Scunthorpe eastbound towards Immingham, between J2 and J3.
I have today removed 4 on the M181 via my home pc, but it's not them. The others were done on the old smartphone.
I was just surprised not to get a confirmation e.mail like you used to, and everything was done correct and linked to my account.
Pending was when they used to come up as a red box with no graphic in. |

All I can see is one pending pSpecs on the M180 at the M181 so it looks like the submissions failed _________________ DashCam:

Went through the same area last night, and the submissions appear on Cameralert.
The one that you mention, I duplicated it, and it appeared straight away with a confirmation e.mail, whereas the others didn't.
Odd. |

So tonight as the motorway was now open, I have done the other side on my old smartphone, and just to be doubly sure that all of the cameras get shared, I have also inputted the details on my computer, just as a belt and braces job. |

They don't show up as pending until I manually process them (although if you have pending cameras shown in the alert types then you will see your submissions).
This does, however, explain why I had 3 submissions for each of the cameras!!! |

Excellent.
Wasn't sure if Cameralert was still acknowledging them, and them they getting through, hence why I did the co-ordinates manually when I got home. Wanted to make sure that these new ones were available to all.
If Cameralert is still processing them, then I will use the old smartphone to spot.
Nice to get back on the road and do some spotting after being hidden away in an office for God knows how long.
Would be nice to see my name in lights on the home page. Seemingly you have missed it....... |
