Had to drive the M20 recently from junction 3 (M26) to junction 7 (A249) and all the average speed cameras now have 'camera not in use' signs next to them. This is the section of the M20 past Maidstone where the smart motorway upgrade has been taking place
HADECS 3 cameras have now been installed on some of the new gantries that have been put in place and the temporary 50mph speed limit removed. |

No idea..still 60 going down to 50 on approach to tunnels, but no visible specs cameras to me. Long time since I been down there so can’t remember what used to be like. The specs are obviously there on the gantries Just before tunnel entrance and thru the tunnel. Used to be one of busiest cameras. Was doing the right speed so won’t get ticket to check either |

and had to go back down to Kent again at the weekend and it looks like all the average speed cameras between J3 (M26) and J7 (A249) have now been physically removed.
Should be going there again this weekend and I'll double check that they have all now gone.
Would also guess that as the average speed cameras are gone and the roadworks finished, that the HADACS3 cameras are now live |

More than likely if the roadworks was for creating the Smart Motorway (variable speed) |
